Puppy and Beginner Classes 2011

All classes are 6 week courses and each lesson is 1 hour long. Each class has a maximum of 6 dogs.

Puppy Classes

Dogs must be over 12 weeks old and under 6 months.

Dogs must be vaccinated and a vaccination certificate must be shown to the instructor on the first night of training.

The course covers all aspects of your puppy’s first months, including

• Recalling your dog to you
• Relaxed walking
• Waits/stays
• Get your dog to leave an object
• How to stop jumping up
• Games and play
• Tricks

There is also a puppy test at the end of the course.

Beginner Classes

Dogs must be over 6 months.

Dogs must be vaccinated and a vaccination certificate must be shown to the instructor on the first night of training.

The course is aimed at achieving a well behaved, balanced dog and includes;

• Recalling your dog to you
• Relaxed walking
• Waits/stays
• Get your dog to leave an object
• How to stop jumping up
• Games and play
• Tricks

There is also a beginner test at the end of the course.

All classes sizes are determined by breed especially in the beginners. Therefore we may adjust class sizes, Some of the classes may have less than 6 if we have a lot of larger breeds but sometimes slightly more if we have an influx of smaller breeds.
